Background: The ability to assess kidney function properly has important health implications. Glomerularfiltration rate (GFR) is still accepted as the best measurement index of function. formula theModified Diet in Renal Disease (MDRD) currently widely used by medical community estimateGFR (estimated GFR or eGFR). renogram with radiofarmaka I131-Hippuran considered have aninherent accuracy inulin cliren gold standard measurement.Objective: To determine description and eGFR’s results assessing ofCKD patients.Method: This study was a retrospective observational that records from 113 CKD patientsundergone examination at Dr. Soetomo General Hospital Surabaya 2012. eGFR calculatedbased on serum creatinine, age, sex patient. Data werepresented descriptively.Results: We obtained male 63% female 37% age range between 20-69 years. highestpercentage 50-59 cases this were mostly caused urinary tractstones 44%. most common 2 failure 48% highest was<15 ml/min/1.73m2 score 73%.Conclusion: There no normal eGFR. kidneyfailure found all aubjects <15 ml/min/1.73m2.
